# eFlorist

> Pull eFlorist relay orders into Digital Florists from the eFlorist portal.

**Connect**'s eFlorist integration opens the eFlorist portal inside a desktop window so you can sign in once and have your relay orders flow straight through to Digital Florists. When you accept an order in the portal, Connect grabs the makeup sheet and pushes it into your Digital Florists dashboard — no copy-paste, no separate logins.

<Info>
  There's no eFlorist tile in **Settings**. eFlorist is intake-only: you set it up here in Connect, not on the Relay integrations page in Settings.
</Info>

## What it does

Once you've signed in to the eFlorist portal through Connect, the integration:

* Pulls orders from eFlorist as you accept them in the portal
* Downloads the makeup sheet for each order using your signed-in session
* Forwards everything to your Digital Florists dashboard
* Skips orders that are already in Digital Florists, so re-accepting a batch won't create duplicates

## Setting it up

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Connect's Dashboard">
    Launch Connect. The Dashboard is the screen you land on.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the eFlorist portal">
    Click **Open eFlorist Portal**. Connect opens the eFlorist portal in its own window.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in to eFlorist">
    Sign in with your normal eFlorist credentials. Connect keeps the session on this device, so you won't be prompted again unless eFlorist expires it or you clear it yourself in **Settings** > **Relay Settings** > **Clear eFlorist Sign-In**.

    Connect also offers to save the login — choose **Save** or **Not now**. Saved logins are encrypted and stored only on this computer, never uploaded. If eFlorist does ask you to sign in again, the form is prefilled with your saved details — you still press sign in yourself. Saved more than one login? The most recently saved fills the form by default, and the **Saved eFlorist logins** picker lets you switch.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept an order to test">
    Open a test order in the portal and accept it as you normally would. Check that the order appears in your Digital Florists dashboard.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Enable **Launch at Login** in Advanced Settings so Connect starts with your computer and the eFlorist portal is one click away.
</Tip>

## How orders flow

The key difference from Interflora: eFlorist orders come through when you're using the portal. Connect picks them up when you click **Accept** or **Accept All**.

So your routine stays the same as before:

* Open the eFlorist portal from Connect
* Work through new orders as they arrive
* Click **Accept** (or **Accept All**) — Connect forwards each one to Digital Florists in the background

Each order lands ready to work, with the basics already filled in for you.

* **Already paid.** eFlorist settles payment at their end, so the order arrives marked as paid, with its source set to **Eflorist Connect**. That source label makes relay orders easy to spot in your list, and you don't take payment again.
* **Sorted into a delivery slot.** Delivery orders drop into an **Eflorist AM** or **Eflorist PM** slot based on the requested time, or a plain **Eflorist** slot when there's no morning or afternoon split. If the slot doesn't exist yet, it's created the first time it's needed.
* **Routed to the right location.** If you run more than one location, the order goes to the one set up with your eFlorist florist number. With a single shop, it simply lands there.
* **Funeral details carried over.** On funeral orders, the name from the recipient line is treated as the person being remembered and added to the order note, so your team knows who the tribute is for.

Once an order is in Digital Florists, you manage its lifecycle there — Prepared, Out for Delivery, Delivered. Neither Connect nor eFlorist pushes those status updates back to the portal, so treat the eFlorist portal as the inbound feed and Digital Florists as where the fulfilment lives.

<Info>
  Both eFlorist and Interflora relays are inbound-only. Connect reads orders from each portal — it doesn't send delivery progress back to either one.
</Info>

<Info>
  The **Enable relay automations** master toggle in **Settings** > **Relay** also applies to eFlorist. With the toggle off, Connect won't pull from eFlorist even while you're using the portal — turn it back on to resume.
</Info>

## Session expiry

eFlorist sessions can drop for the usual reasons — long idle time, password change, or eFlorist forcing a re-login. If sign-in pages keep looping or the portal asks you to log in again, Connect will usually reset the session for you.

If you want to force a fresh sign-in:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to Settings > Relay">
    Open **Connect** > **Settings** > **Relay**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Clear the saved sign-in">
    Click **Clear eFlorist Sign-In on This Device**. This wipes the saved session and closes any open portal windows.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in again">
    Open the portal from the dashboard and sign in as normal.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Clearing the eFlorist session only affects this device. If you sign in to eFlorist on another computer through Connect, that session stays signed in until you clear it there too.

## Common questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Does Connect pull eFlorist orders in the background?">
    No. eFlorist orders come through when you accept them in the portal — either individually or via **Accept All**.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Will eFlorist see status updates I make in Digital Florists?">
    No. Connect doesn't push delivery statuses back to eFlorist — and it doesn't push them back to Interflora either. Manage the order's fulfilment lifecycle in Digital Florists and treat the eFlorist portal as the inbound feed.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if I accept the same order twice?">
    Connect checks with Digital Florists before creating anything. If the order's already on file you'll see a message telling you so — no duplicate is created.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does an eFlorist order arrive already paid?">
    eFlorist handles payment at their end, so the order comes through marked as paid with the source **Eflorist Connect**. You don't take payment again. Filter your orders by that source to find everything that came in from eFlorist.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which delivery slot do eFlorist orders use?">
    Delivery orders go into an **Eflorist AM** or **Eflorist PM** slot based on the requested time, or a plain **Eflorist** slot when there's no morning or afternoon split. If the slot isn't there already, Digital Florists creates it the first time an order needs it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I run more than one shop — which location does an eFlorist order land in?">
    Orders route to the location set up with your eFlorist florist number. If none of your locations has a matching number, the order lands at your first location instead. Contact us at [hello@digitalflorists.com](mailto:hello@digitalflorists.com) if you need a florist number set against a location.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="My sign-in keeps expiring — what should I do?">
    Clear the eFlorist session in **Settings** > **Relay** and sign in again. If it keeps happening, check that you're not also signed in to eFlorist in another browser or on another device, which can sometimes invalidate the session.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="An order's missing from Digital Florists — where do I look?">
    First check the eFlorist portal itself — has the order been accepted? If yes, try re-opening it in the portal. If it's already in Digital Florists from a previous run, you'll see a message telling you the order is already in Digital Florists. If it still doesn't show, contact us at [hello@digitalflorists.com](mailto:hello@digitalflorists.com).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need a separate eFlorist login for Connect?">
    No. Use your normal eFlorist florist account. Connect keeps its own signed-in session on this device so it doesn't clash with eFlorist in your regular browser.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I use eFlorist and Interflora at the same time?">
    Yes. Each relay runs in its own window with its own sign-in, so you can keep both signed in and switch between them as needed.
  </Accordion>
