Next release

Added

  • NEW INTEGRATION: Dojo — connect a Dojo account from Settings > Integrations and take card payments three ways from the order screen: a Dojo Payment Link sent to the customer, the Dojo Virtual Terminal for keyed entry on the phone, and a Dojo card terminal at the counter. Refunds raised from the order will settle back through Dojo. See Payment integrations.
  • NEW PERMISSION: Refund Orders — a new capability that lets staff issue refunds without granting full Manage Transactions. Refund buttons across the transaction page and POS pick the permission up automatically. Configure under Team.
  • Payment Terminals settings page — a new screen under Settings where you’ll register a card-terminal serial, give it a label, pair it to a till device, see when it last checked in, and deprovision a unit that’s been replaced.
  • PaymentSense card entry in the dashboard — PaymentSense card entry will appear inline on the order screen using the Connect e form, alongside payment links. Refunds initiated from the order screen go back to the original card. See Payment integrations.
  • Manual provider refund reconciliation — if a card payment came in through a provider that doesn’t support automatic refunds, you’ll be able to refund it in the provider first, then record the refund in Digital Florists by ticking a confirmation and entering the provider’s refund reference. The ledger then matches the customer’s statement. See Refunds.
  • Gift card balance restored on refund — refunding a payment that was tendered to a gift card will credit the spent amount back onto the same card, with an entry on the card’s history. The balance and the order ledger stay in sync without a manual top-up.
  • Stripe payment-link cancellation — cancel an outstanding Stripe payment link from the order, so a link you sent in error can’t still be paid. Cancelled and expired links are tracked against the order. See Payment integrations.
  • Cancel a pending event payment link — a new Pending payment links panel will appear above the event payments table, listing each link with a Cancel link button. Cancelling it frees the reserved balance so you can take payment a different way, and the customer’s link stops working. See Payments and deposits.
  • Copyable webhook URL in integration setup — opening Stripe, Dojo, PaymentSense or Ecwid from Settings > Integrations will show the exact webhook URL to paste into the provider’s dashboard at the top of the configuration screen, with a Copy button and help text spelling out where it goes. See Integrations.

Changed

  • REDESIGNED: Transaction details page — the transaction page will lead with a single summary band showing the status badge, transaction ID, payment method and the key figures (total, net paid, outstanding, refunded, tax), so you’ll see where a transaction stands without scrolling. Issue Refund moves into the page header. See Transactions.
  • REDESIGNED: Stripe hosted card entry — Stripe’s hosted card form on the order screen will move to the Stripe Payment Element, with billing-detail prefill from the customer record and a clearer in-page state for retries. Payment links still work the same way; only the card-entry surface changes. The on-screen wording for the phone-order flow will change from Manual Card Entry to Hosted Card Entry to reflect what Stripe is actually doing. See Payment integrations.
  • INTEGRATION UPDATE: PaymentSense — PaymentSense will move to a self-serve tile in Settings > Integrations, with a clearer Test or Live environment switch and a managed webhook URL (with an override field if PaymentSense needs to call a custom URL for your shop). See Payment integrations.
  • Stripe restricted keys — Stripe credentials will accept restricted keys (rk_test_ / rk_live_) alongside the existing secret keys, so you can give Digital Florists a key that’s scoped to only what it needs. The Secret Key field will be renamed to Secret or Restricted Key. See Payment integrations.
  • Refund route preview when cancelling an order — the Cancel Order modal will tell you upfront whether each refund will go back to the customer through Stripe, Dojo or PaymentSense automatically, be recorded internally only, or need a manual provider step. The Issue Refund button stays disabled until any required step is acknowledged. See Refunds.
  • Clearer payment method labels at checkout — payment methods backed by a provider integration will show a short tag (External, Hosted Entry, Gift Card) on the till and order screens, so you can tell a Stripe hosted form apart from a card sale you keyed in on your own terminal. See Payment methods.
  • Petty cash toggle per till device — each till device will be able to turn petty cash on or off. With it off, the petty cash buttons disappear from the POS and the end-of-day reconciliation skips the petty cash row entirely for that till. Configure under Devices.
  • Event deposit links expire on the payment due date — online payment links you mint for an event deposit will automatically expire on the event’s payment due date, so an unpaid link can’t be used after the deadline has passed. You can still cancel a link manually before then if plans change. See Payments and deposits.
  • Payment links stay payable during maintenance — payment links you’ve already emailed to a customer (proposal deposits, balance reminders) will keep working while your shop is in maintenance mode, so a customer who clicks through can still pay. See Payment integrations.
  • Payment methods on a till switch on for POS automatically — ticking a payment method onto a device in Settings > Devices will enable it for POS straight away, so you don’t need to go back to Settings > Advanced > Payments and turn POS Enabled on as a separate step. See Devices.
  • Repeat orders left on Account roll forward more reliably — the nightly conversion of unpaid generated repeat orders to Account payments will retry briefly if a shop is busy at the time, so the morning’s account list is complete more consistently. See Repeat orders.
