Gift cards let your customers buy credit that can be spent on any order. They’re popular for birthdays, Christmas, and “I don’t know what flowers to choose” situations.

Setting up gift cards

Go to Settings > Gift Cards to configure:
  • Denominations you want to offer (e.g., £10, £25, £50, £100)
  • Custom amounts if you want customers to choose their own value
  • Expiry period for how long the card is valid (e.g., 12 months from purchase)
  • Design for the digital gift card that gets emailed to the recipient

Selling gift cards

Gift cards can be sold:
  • Online through your website, where the customer chooses a value and enters the recipient’s email. The gift card is sent digitally.
  • In-store through the POS. You can sell a physical or digital card at the counter.
  • Manually by creating one from the back office and emailing or printing it.

Redeeming a gift card

When a customer wants to use their gift card:
  • Online: They enter the gift card code at checkout and the balance is applied to their order
  • In-store: Enter the code at the POS and the balance is deducted
If the order costs more than the gift card balance, the customer pays the difference. If it costs less, the remaining balance stays on the card for next time.

Checking balances

You can look up any gift card by its code to see the original value, remaining balance, and transaction history.
