Send to a Friend is a florist-to-florist relay network. If a customer wants flowers delivered somewhere you don’t cover, you can send the order to a partner florist. And if you’d like extra work coming through, you can receive orders from other florists in the network.Documentation Index

This page covers features gated by Admin-tier permissions — typically Settings access. Admins have these by default; your administrator can adjust who has them in Settings > Team.
Send to a Friend is enabled per-tenant. If you don’t see it in your settings, contact hello@digitalflorists.com and we’ll switch it on for your shop.
Sending orders
When Send orders is on, an extra Send to a Friend option appears as a relay provider in the order create flow. Choose it, pick a partner florist from your network, and the order is forwarded with all the details — recipient, address, products, delivery date, and any notes. The partner sees the order on their dashboard and fulfils it like any other order. Your customer pays you; you settle with the partner separately.Receiving orders
When Receive orders is on, partner florists in your network can send you orders. Incoming orders land in your dashboard tagged as Send to a Friend inbound, and you handle them like a normal order.Managing your network
The Send to a Friend page lists every florist you’re linked to. From here you can:- Add a new partner — they need to be on Digital Florists too.
- Remove a partner — stops orders flowing in both directions.
- See the volume of orders sent and received with each partner.

How does payment work?
How does payment work?
Digital Florists doesn’t handle the inter-florist money — you settle directly with your partner (account, bank transfer, whatever you agree). Your customer paid you for the full order at the original sale.
What if the partner can't fulfil?

They mark the order as unable to fulfil. It comes back to you so you can find another partner or contact the customer.
