A location is a physical place your business operates from — a shop, a workroom, a depot. Most florists have one. Some have several. Every order, delivery run, till session, and event is tied to a location, so Digital Florists knows where it happened and which slots apply.
This page covers features gated by Admin-tier permissions — typically Settings access. Admins have these by default; your administrator can adjust who has them in Settings > Team.

Adding or editing a location

Go to Settings > Locations to see your locations. Each one has its own page covering:
  • Details — name, address, phone number, email. The address is used for delivery route calculations and appears on receipts and invoices.
  • Opening hours — a single free-text summary like “Mon–Sat 9am–5pm, Sun closed”. This appears on customer-facing receipts and the website.
  • Localisation — timezone, currency, and country. Set these correctly before you start taking orders.
  • Delivery slots — see Delivery slots for the full setup.
  • Email — the address that receives notifications for events, enquiries, and integration alerts at this location.
Digital Florists creates your first location when your account is set up. Most shops just fill in the existing one rather than creating new ones.

Multiple locations

If you run more than one shop, add a location per shop. Each has its own delivery slots, opening hours, and till sessions, so reporting is clean per-shop. Staff with access to multiple locations can switch between them from the location picker in the top bar.

Common questions

Yes. Assign them to as many locations as you need from their team profile. Their daily view at the top of the dashboard always shows the location they’re currently switched into.
No. An order belongs to the location it was created at. If you need to fulfil from a different shop, recreate it there.
You can archive a location once it’s no longer in use — orders, sessions, and reports stay attached so historical data remains intact. You can’t delete one outright if it has any history.
