Devices and the technical controls you set up once.
Settings > Advanced is where the technical bits of your shop live. Most florists set these up once during onboarding and rarely come back. The controls here generally affect the whole instance, not just one location.
This page covers features gated by Admin-tier permissions — typically Settings access. Admins have these by default; your administrator can adjust who has them in Settings > Team.
Open Settings > Advanced in your dashboard and you’ll also find these tabs. They’re configured directly in the page rather than having their own docs.
Tab
What it controls
Banners
Info, success, warning, and error banners shown at the top of dashboard pages. Useful for posting a notice to your team.
Tax Rates
The tax rates available when pricing products and orders. The default rate is set in Shop setup.
Email Drivers
Send notification emails from your own domain via SMTP, Gmail, Outlook 365, or Zoho. Leave blank to use the free @florists.digital sender.
Data Migration
One-off bulk imports run during onboarding. Most shops never touch this after launch.
Payment Methods
The methods that appear at the POS and on order screens — Cash, Card, Account, Gift Card, and any custom methods you add. Changes here affect cashup and end-of-day reports, so tread carefully.
Payment Methods is the riskiest tab on this page. Adding, removing, or renaming a method changes how POS cashup and end-of-day reports tally. If you’re not sure what a flag does, get in touch with support before saving.
