Settings > Advanced is where the operational plumbing lives — integrations, payment methods, notifications, automations, and everything else you set up once and rarely change. The settings here generally affect the whole shop, not just one location.
This page covers features gated by Admin-tier permissions — typically Settings access. Admins have these by default; your administrator can adjust who has them in Settings > Team.

What lives under Advanced

  • Integrations — connect Stripe, your website, courier services, accounting tools, and Slack.
  • Notifications — the emails and texts Digital Florists sends to your customers and team.
  • Automations — rules that fire on order or event changes.
  • Payment methods — the methods that appear at the POS and on order screens (Cash, Card, Account, Gift Card, etc.).
  • Devices — POS devices and their per-device settings.
  • Email drivers — your SMTP setup if you send emails from your own domain.

Common questions

Not directly — Advanced is gated as a whole. Use permission overrides to give a specific person broader access than their role normally allows.
General covers the shop’s identity and day-to-day operating rules (business details, opening hours, delivery slots, dashboard preferences). Advanced is the plumbing that connects Digital Florists to outside services and the rules that fire automatically.
