Decide how your invoices and statements look, how long account customers have to pay, and how tax is applied across your shop.
This page covers features gated by Admin-tier permissions — typically Settings access. Admins have these by default; your administrator can adjust who has them in Settings > Team.
Go to Settings > General and choose Invoices & tax. Make your changes and click Save invoices & tax. Three things on this page shape every price in your shop. Default tax rate is used when a product or a charge has no rate of its own. Prices are entered decides whether your team types prices with tax included or before tax on new orders and proposals. Tax rates at the bottom is where you add the rates themselves, and you then pick a rate for each product variant in the product editor.

Invoices and statements

Upload an Invoice logo and it appears at the top of every invoice and statement. Invoice footer is the small print at the bottom of every invoice, and Invoice thank-you message is a short line printed under the total. Payment terms (days) is how long account customers have to pay. A customer with their own terms on their record keeps those instead, and the due date printed on each invoice follows whichever applies. Type an address into Copy invoices to and it receives a copy of every invoice you send, with the PDF attached. Copy statements to does the same for statements. Separate several addresses with a comma. Point either at your accountant or the inbox your accounting software reads. Type your Bank transfer details and they’re shown to customers who pay by bank transfer. They also fill in the bank details in the messages you send with a proposal. Check them carefully before you offer bank transfer. See Invoicing and Statements for sending them.

Tax defaults

Choose the Default tax rate that applies whenever a product or a charge has no rate of its own. Prices are entered is how your team thinks about a price. Choose Including tax and a price typed onto a new order or proposal is what the customer pays. Choose Excluding tax and tax is added on top of the figure typed.

Tax registration

Type your VAT or tax number and it is printed on invoices and receipts. It belongs to each shop, so pick the shop first in the Set per shop band if you run more than one.

Tax rates

Open Tax rates at the bottom of the page to see the rates your products can use, each with its percentage beside it. Click Add, give the rate a Name such as Standard, Reduced or Zero, and type the Rate as a percentage. Open a rate on the list to rename it or change the percentage. Once a rate exists you can choose it for a product variant in the product editor, so flowers, food and alcohol can each carry the right rate. See Product settings. Digital Florists doesn’t decide which rate is right for a product; your accountant is the person to confirm it.

Common questions

The rate set on that product variant. A line with no rate of its own uses the Default tax rate from this page.
Yes. Payment terms (days) here is the shop-wide default. Open the customer’s record and set their own terms under their credit account details, and their invoices use those instead. See Account customers.
No. There’s no delete on the Tax rates list. Rename a rate you’ve stopped using so your team knows to leave it alone, and set the rate you do use on each product variant.
