Your data belongs to you. The Exports module allows you to extract raw CSV data from almost any part of the system for use in Excel, Google Sheets, or 3rd party marketing tools.

The “Filter First” Workflow

Exports are context-aware. The system exports what you are currently looking at.
  1. Navigate: Go to the page (e.g., Orders > All Orders).
  2. Filter: Use the search bar or filters to narrow down the view (e.g., “Status: Fulfilled”, “Date: Last Month”).
  3. Export: Click the Export button in the top right.
  4. Result: You get a CSV containing only the 500 orders you filtered for, not the entire database of 50,000.

Key Export Types

Order Export

  • Use Case: Detailed sales analysis or importing into legacy shipping software.
  • Columns: Order ID, Customer Name, Total Price, Delivery Address, Products Ordered.

Customer Export

  • Use Case: Email marketing (Mailchimp) or Christmas Card lists.
  • Columns: Name, Email, Phone, Lifetime Value, Marketing Consent (True/False).

Ingredient Usage

  • Use Case: Sending a stem count list to your wholesaler.
  • Columns: Ingredient Name, Quantity Required, date required.
GDPR Compliance: When exporting customer data, ensure you respect the marketing_opt_in column. Do not email customers who have marked this as FALSE.
