Exports let you download your data as spreadsheet files that you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or import into other tools.

How exports work

Most exports follow the same pattern: filter first, then download.
1

Go to the export page

Head to Analytics > Export and pick the category you need — Sales, Inventory, Customers, Financials, or End of Day.
2

Set your filters

Choose a date range, location, statuses, or any other filters available for that report.
3

Generate and download

Click Generate. The file downloads to your computer.
You can also export directly from some pages — for example, exporting orders, customers, or products from their respective list views.

Export formats

FormatWhen it’s usedOpens in
XLSX (Excel)Most reports — especially those with multiple sheetsExcel, Google Sheets, Numbers

Reports with multiple sheets (like the Order Sales report, which has Overview, Products, Occasions, and more) always download as XLSX so you can use the tabs.

Audit logging

Every export is logged automatically. The audit log records:
  • Who downloaded the file
  • When it was downloaded
  • Which report type
  • What filters were applied
  • How many records were included
Your admin can review export logs in the audit trail. This helps with data protection compliance — you always know who accessed what data and when.

Common questions

Most reports are XLSX (Excel) files. Simpler exports like customer and product lists are CSV. Order and delivery sheets can be PDF.
Invoice reports are capped at 10,000 records. Other reports have no hard limit, though very large exports may take a moment to generate.
Exports are currently manual. For automated financial data, connect to Xero or QuickBooks via Integrations.
Some reports require specific permissions. Financial reports need the financials export permission, and end of day reports need the end of day export permission. Ask your admin to check your role.
