Navigating the Calendar
The calendar offers two distinct modes for different planning horizons.
Month View
Strategic Planning. Use this view to check availability when a customer asks “Are you free on August 12th?”.
- Dots: Each dot represents an event.
- Colors:
- Gray: Inquiry / Tentative.
- Green: Quote Accepted / Booked.
- Red: Fully Booked (if you use capacity limits).
Features
Drag & Drop
Easily reschedule a consultation by dragging it to a new time slot. Note that major events usually require changing the date in the event details to ensure all logistics are updated.
Filtering
Toggle visibility for:
- Events: Confirmed weddings/functions.
- Consultations: Initial meetings with clients.
- Deliveries: Large event drop-offs.
- Staff Holidays: See who is away.
Consultations
You can book consultations directly onto the calendar.
- Link them to an existing Enquiry/Event.
- Add notes (e.g., “Bring swatches”).
- Set reminders.
