Event day is the moment everything you’ve planned comes together. This page is your run-sheet — a single landing place for the morning of an event, with links into the detail screens you’ll want open. Most florists keep this tab open alongside the dashboard.
If you’ve followed the workflow from enquiry through to Order Created, all of today’s flowers are already on your dashboard as normal orders. This page is the pre-flight checklist that ties the rest together.

The morning checklist

1

Open the calendar for today

Switch to the Events Calendar in Day view to see every event scheduled. This is the quickest answer to “what’s going out today?” — every event tile shows its status, type, and venue at a glance.
2

Check each event's orders are on the dashboard

Every event in Order Created has its event orders visible on the main Dashboard alongside everyday orders. Confirm each one is there, ready for your team to make up.
3

Pull the shopping list

The Dashboard’s Shopping List adds up every ingredient across every order for the day, so you know exactly what to pull from the cooler before you start work.
4

Confirm hire items are pulled and packed

Check your Hire Items list against each event. Vases, arches, plinths, candelabras — everything that needs to leave the shop and come back should be tagged off as you load.
5

Plan the delivery run

Use Delivery to build the route. Venue addresses for events come straight from the event record, so they’re already on the route as long as the orders have venues set.
6

Check the final balance status

Glance at each event’s Payments status. If anything’s still outstanding, decide whether to chase the client now or wait until after the delivery.
Run this checklist the evening before too. Most of these steps surface things you can fix the night before (a missing venue, a hire item still on a previous event) rather than at 6am on the day.

What your team sees

Once orders are created, your shop floor and drivers work from the dashboard and the Digital Florists App like any other day. There’s no separate “event mode”:
  • Florists pick the order on the app, see the recipe, and mark it ready.
  • Drivers open the delivery, navigate to the venue, and mark it delivered.
  • You track progress from the dashboard and the calendar.

The shopping list

The Shopping List lives on the Dashboard. It rolls up every stem, bunch, and sundry across every order with a recipe — including event orders. That’s how you go from “we’ve got three weddings this Saturday” to a concrete list of what to bring back from the wholesaler.

Hire items going out

For each event going out today, the items you reserved at Quote Accepted should already be staged. Use the Hire Items page to double-check the count for today’s date. If anything is short, you’ll see it in the overbooked summary tiles.

Common questions

Take the order on the dashboard like a normal walk-in or phone order, attached to the same customer. There’s no need to re-open the event quotation unless you want to keep the records together for closeout.
Yes. Use the Day view on the Events Calendar. For combined view of events and everyday orders, the Dashboard is the single screen most florists work from.
Mark the delivery accordingly on the Delivery screen. The event itself stays in Order Created until you move it on — failed deliveries don’t roll the event back automatically.
Once everything’s delivered and your team is back at the shop. See Closing Out for the post-event workflow.
