What relay does
Once relay’s set up, Connect runs quietly in the background and looks after the bits you’d otherwise do by hand:- Pulls new relay orders into your Digital Florists dashboard
- Downloads makeup sheet PDFs and attaches them to the order
- Pulls Interflora delivery status updates in the background
- Handles the Accept and Accept All flow on the eFlorist portal — when you accept an order, Connect grabs it and forwards it to Digital Florists
Connect only reads from the relay portals — it pulls orders and delivery status updates across to Digital Florists. It doesn’t push anything back. You still mark orders as delivered (or update their status) in the relay’s own portal, such as the Interflora Florist Hub.
Supported relays
Connect currently supports three relays:
See Interflora relay and eFlorist relay for the per-relay details.
How it works
Connect signs in to each relay’s florist portal with your usual credentials, then keeps an eye on it for you. The two portals behave a little differently:- Interflora runs in the background. Connect checks the Florist Hub on a schedule and forwards today’s new orders and delivery status changes to Digital Florists.
- eFlorist is user-triggered. Orders come through when you click Accept or Accept All in the eFlorist portal.
Enabling relay
Open the relay portal you want from Connect’s Dashboard — Open Interflora Florist Hub, Open eFlorist Portal, or Open Interflora Spain if you’ve enabled it. Sign in once with your portal credentials; Connect remembers the session on this device, so the next time you launch it everything reconnects automatically. When you sign in, Connect also offers to save the login — choose Save or Not now. Saved logins are encrypted and stored only on that computer; they’re never uploaded. Next time the portal asks you to sign in, the form is prefilled with your saved details — it doesn’t sign in for you, so you still press the sign-in button yourself. You can save more than one login per portal. The most recently saved one fills the form by default, and a picker on the login page (Saved Interflora logins, for example) lets you switch between them. The master switch lives in Settings > Relay settings:The Enable relay automations toggle in Settings > Relay settings is the master switch. When it’s off, relay syncing pauses entirely. Turn it back on whenever you’re ready to resume.
Interflora Spain
Interflora Spain is off by default. Turn it on under Additional providers in Settings > Relay settings and two things happen: an Open Interflora Spain button joins the other portals on the Dashboard, and the portal is included in relay automations. There are no separate credentials to enter in Connect. Open the portal from the Dashboard and sign in with your usual Interflora Spain details, just as you do for the other relays. If sign-in misbehaves, click Clear Interflora Spain sign-in on this device in Relay settings to wipe the saved session and start fresh. What’s next?
