This page covers features gated by Admin-tier permissions — typically Settings access. Admins have these by default; your administrator can adjust who has them in Settings > Team.
Order events
These are sent when an order changes status. They’re the most commonly used notifications. All order events are disabled by default. Enable the ones you want to use in Settings > Notifications.Advanced rules
Each notification also has Advanced settings that control who receives it, by order type, location, and connected platform. See Recipients. When text messages aren’t part of your plan
Open Settings > Notifications without an SMS plan and a banner at the top says text notifications need an active SMS plan, and that email notifications stay available at no extra charge. The text side of each notification then reads Unavailable, SMS plan required, and its switch can’t be turned on. Check what your plan includes in Settings > About.Event & proposal events
These support the event lifecycle, from sending a quote to confirming a booking.Business events
Communications that accompany financial documents. These are enabled by default and bypass per-customer opt-outs, so paperwork still reaches the customer. You can disable them in your notification settings if you need to.Customer events
Occasion reminders
Give an occasion such as Birthday or Anniversary a reminder timing under Settings > Occasions, tick Schedule marketing reminder on an order for that occasion, and the customer is emailed ahead of the same date next year. Switch the Automatic order reminder email on before those dates come round, because a reminder that falls due while it is off is skipped. The full walkthrough, the reminders list and the Needs review check are on Marketing reminders.System events
This email also gives you an independent copy of each order, kept in your own inbox and separate from Digital Florists’ systems. If your dashboard is ever unavailable, you can still open these emails and work from the attached worksheets. It builds up automatically alongside Disaster Recovery, which gathers the same kind of paperwork on demand from inside the dashboard.
