Reviews
The Reviews card belongs to the shop. If you run more than one shop, pick the shop you are editing in the Set per shop band first. Use the review link, Trustpilot invitations, both or neither.Review link
Paste the web address of the page where you want reviews left into Review link: your Google business profile, your Trustpilot profile or your Facebook page. Keep it short, because it goes into text messages as well as emails. Save it and the link appears in every customer message whose template carries it. Your team can also add it to an automation message with the Review link variable, and customers see it on the delivery confirmation page once their stop is marked delivered. Change the address whenever you like; every message from then on uses the new one.Trustpilot review invitations
Switch on Send Trustpilot review invitations to let Trustpilot do the asking. Paste the private address from your Trustpilot business account into Trustpilot invitation address; it ends ininvite.trustpilot.com. From then on, each time an order is marked fulfilled, that address is copied on the fulfilment email and Trustpilot invites your customer to leave a review.
Before you switch it on, check these.
- You need a Trustpilot business account. The invitation address comes from Trustpilot, not from Digital Florists.
- The When an order is fulfilled notification has to be switched on. If that email isn’t going out, no invitation is sent. Switch it on under Recipients.
- Trustpilot receives the whole email, including your customer’s name, the delivery details and any proof-of-delivery photos. Keep that template free of anything you wouldn’t want to share.
- Walk-in till sales and relay orders are left out.
- Resending a fulfilment email doesn’t send a second invitation. One order asks once.
- Your customer doesn’t see the Trustpilot address on their email.
Email branding
Upload an image to Email logo and it appears at the top of every email sent to your customers. Upload one to Email footer image and it appears at the bottom. Put a web address in Email footer link to make the footer image clickable, such as your website or your online shop. These three apply to every shop. To change what an email says, or to preview one with your branding in place, open the template under Notification templates.Marketing
Switch on Ask before using an email for marketing and a new customer’s marketing email is left blank until they opt in. Your team ticks Opt in to marketing emails on the customer form to copy the main email across. Leave it off and the main email is copied into the marketing email as your team types it. Switch on Tick ‘Schedule marketing reminder’ by default and the reminder box starts ticked whenever your team picks an occasion that has reminders set up on a new order. Your team can still untick it on any order. How reminders are timed and sent is covered under Marketing reminders. Switch on New customers start without an address and the address section is skipped by default when your team adds a customer. Your team can still open it for a customer who needs one.Common questions
How many Trustpilot invitations can I send a month?
How many Trustpilot invitations can I send a month?
That’s set by your Trustpilot plan, not your Digital Florists plan, so check it with Trustpilot. Digital Florists sends one invitation per fulfilment email and doesn’t limit the number.
Can I use a review link and Trustpilot invitations together?
Can I use a review link and Trustpilot invitations together?
Yes. They’re separate settings and neither switches the other off. The review link appears in the messages whose templates carry it and on the delivery confirmation page, while the Trustpilot invitation goes out with the fulfilment email. If your When an order is fulfilled template also carries the review link, that customer is asked twice off one order.
Can each shop have its own review link?
Can each shop have its own review link?
Yes. The Reviews card is set per shop, so pick the shop in the Set per shop band before you paste the link. Email branding and the marketing defaults are shared by every shop.
